justaprettyfaceWe're finally hear, Lady Eliza. The weather on the roads wasn't very good so we had to go slower but I only missed three days' worth of classes, so hopefully I can catch up. I do so wish I had been hear earlier though, so I could meet my fellow students before everyone got tied up with their lessons. But it is still early in the term so hopefully there will be time for socializing.

I'm so nervous about tomorrow. Excited and nervous. What's it going to be like? Will anyone figure out who I actually am? I really hope not. I just want to be like everyone else here. I just want to learn.
Father still probably thinks this is just a whim, that I'll be on my way home in a month or less. But he's wrong. This is what I really want to do, what I've always been meant to do.
... Sometimes I feel bad, reading about what's happening in Korin and being all excited about my own life. But it's not my fault there's a war. And besides, all the great Lords wouldn't let us lose. And one of the things they are fighting for is for everyone else to be able to live freely and that's just what I'm doing.
I still feel guilty sometimes though.
Anyway, I can't let it get me down, at least not right now. Tomorrow is the biggest day of my life. I've already got all my books ready and my dress picked out too. Everything's ready.
